KPi Education is working in partnership with a specialist provision in Southall to recruit a dedicated Occupational Therapist to support pupils with a range of SEN and developmental needs.
The Role – Occupational Therapist
As the school’s Occupational Therapist, you will:
• Deliver occupational therapy assessments and interventions for children and young people
• Support pupils with sensory regulation, fine and gross motor skills, functional independence, and access to learning
• Develop and implement individualised OT programmes aligned with EHCP targets
• Provide 1:1 and group interventions
• Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, therapists, and pastoral staff
• Offer guidance and training to school staff to embed OT strategies in the classroom
• Contribute to EHCP reviews, reports, and multi-agency meetings
• Maintain accurate and compliant clinical documentation

• Autism (ASC)
• ADHD
• Sensory processing differences
• Developmental delay
• SEMH and physical needs

Person Specification
Essential:
• Degree in Occupational Therapy
• HCPC registration (mandatory)
• Experience working with children and/or young people
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently within a school or SEN setting
• Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice
Desirable:
• Experience within an SEN or education setting
• Knowledge of paediatric OT and sensory integration approaches
• Experience supporting EHCP outcomes
