Accountancy Assistant role providing support to the wider Corporate Directorate team. Includes :-
Analysing reasons for expenditure varying from budget, and resolving queries concerning financial reports from budget holders including identification of errors and rectifying problems with data from feeder systems.
Relationship building with budget holders and their support teams.
To support the Finance Team in providing a high-quality financial management accounting service to several Directorates.
To input data to and manipulate data within the computerised accounting system. To produce and distribute monthly financial management budget reports to managers within strict financial timescales, together with supporting information.
To investigate queries and provide advice and training to Directorate Managers as required by the Principal Finance Manager and Directorate Accountant.
