Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our dynamic PFI Contract Management team to support us with the management of the Council’s Private Finance Initiative (PFI) Contracts, as part of the ongoing regeneration and development of the City and its services.
The PFI Contract Management team sits within Major Projects & Infrastructure in the Regeneration Directorate and manages several long term, complex contracts, including a number of Extra Care facilities and schools, with an annual value of circa £22m. The team works in partnership with its Contractors to ensure the facilities and service provision are of a high-quality and have the end users at the heart of the provision.
We are seeking a motivated candidate with excellent communication skills, who is highly organised and able to independently manage complex tasks to tight deadlines.
The post holder will be part of a team responsible for overseeing the compliance and management of PFI / capital contracts to ensure assets and services are delivered and maintained in line with the required standards. This includes:

Performance and Quality monitoring of assets and service provision in line with the key performance indicators set out in the Contracts.
Financial Monitoring and management of all payments in relation to the PFI contracts
Variety of other contractual duties (not limited to), monitoring systems that assist in the management of the contracts such are variation requests, organising and minute taking meetings, updating risk registers and actions logs to ensure clear auditing throughout the contract.
