What You’ll Do
- Carry out maintenance and reactive tasks on electrical building services equipment.
- Conduct scheduled inspections and servicing of electrical systems and fixtures.
- Oversee Life Safety Systems (LSS) and work closely with specialist vendors.
- Support energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives.
- Coordinate, permit and supervise contractors for maintenance and repair activities.
· Plan and execute small installation and improvement projects where applicable
- Perform cost and delivery assessments in line with Sodexo procurement standards.
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety procedures, including risk assessments and lock-out tag-out protocols.
- Deliver high-quality, timely work with strong ownership and accountability.
- Collaborate with the wider Technical Team to support site operations across multiple disciplines.
- Report to immediate superior on any irregularities that might adversely affect the performance of assigned duties.
- Be willing to report to the site outside of normal hours for emergencies.
- Participate in an on-call service as required and directed
- Perform such duties as may be assigned from time to time by the Maintenance & Technical Services Manager, Foreman or such other person as may be designated.
- Participate in training as required relevant to the scope and development of the role
What You’ll Bring
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in electrical building services and plant maintenance.
- Level 6 NQAI Certificate in Electrical Craft Practice (or equivalent) Must be Fully certified & Qualified by Irish competency standards
- Strong communication skills — both written and verbal.
- Excellent customer service and a proactive, positive attitude.
- Strong IT and numeracy skills.
- Full, clean driving licence
