JBA Risk Management are seeking a Go-To-Market Specialist to lead high-impact product launches and shape market strategies. In this strategic, cross-company role, you’ll collaborate with product development, marketing, and business development teams to ensure our innovative solutions reach the right audiences and deliver measurable results.

You will be joining an award-winning environmental and engineering consultancy which puts innovation, sustainability and resilience at the heart of its work.

We are independent and staff-owned under a stewardship model which drives long term decision making and investment. We have offices in the UK, Ireland, Romania, India, Singapore and Australia.

Our people are all important and we invest heavily in life-long learning and skills development. JBA supports hybrid working which provides for greater flexibility with the way that we work.

The role:

• Lead Go-To-Market Strategy: Define and execute launch plans for new products and services.
• Commercial impact: Support the development of compelling go-to-market narratives, proposals, and client-facing materials that directly contribute to winning new business and expanding existing client relationships.
• Value Proposition: Work with product teams to craft compelling messaging and positioning.
• Sales Enablement: Create training materials, collateral, and competitive insights to empower the business development team.
• Performance Tracking: Monitor KPIs, report on success metrics, and refine strategies for continuous improvement.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with marketing, product, and commercial teams to ensure alignment and impact.

The team member we are looking for:

Proven experience: A strong track record in go-to-market strategy, product marketing, or business development, with demonstrable success in launching products or services and driving adoption.
Strategic market knowledge and analytical expertise: Ability to interpret market trends, customer insights, and competitive data to inform decisions and optimise strategies.

Exceptional communication: Skilled at crafting clear, compelling messaging, including high quality technical written content, and building relationships across diverse stakeholders, from technical teams to senior leadership.

A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field is required together with proven experience in go-to-market strategy, product marketing, or business development. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and trends and excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

We are proud to be a B Corp and recognised for our commitment to transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement for a more inclusive and sustainable future, by meeting high standards.

Essential attributes for the role:

• Ability to simplify and communicate complex technical concepts in a way that is clear, engaging, and accessible for clients, including the creation of high quality written and visual materials.
• Adaptability and collaboration: Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities, and collaborating across teams to deliver results.
• Strategic thinker with a proactive approach.
• Highly organised and detail orientated.
• Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability.
• Passion for innovation and continuous improvement.

Desirable attributes for the role:

• Master’s degree (MBA or similar).
• Experience in environmental risk, data analytics, or SaaS products.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile).
• Industry knowledge: Familiarity with flood risk, re/insurance markets, data analytics, or SaaS products, enabling you to understand our clients’ challenges and position solutions effectively

Location:

The full-time role will be based in our modern, eco-friendly offices at Broughton Park, near Skipton, North Yorkshire BD23 3FD.

Our team has adopted a hybrid working approach with some requirement to work both from home and in the office. We supply equipment to support this. You will need to be in the Skipton office a minimum of 3 days a week.
