Hours: Monday – Friday, 08:00 – 17:00

We are a specialist drainage and tankering company providing high-quality services to commercial and domestic clients. We are seeking an experienced Drainage Operations Manager to lead our operations team, ensuring smooth day-to-day running of projects and excellent service delivery.
Role Overview:
As Drainage Operations Manager, you will be responsible for managing our team of drainage engineers and tankering operatives, overseeing operations, coordinating projects, and maintaining strong client relationships. This is a hands-on managerial role focused on efficiency, quality, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of drainage engineers and tankering staff.
- Plan, schedule, and assign daily jobs to ensure efficient operations.
- Oversee and review quotations for drainage projects.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor quality and compliance.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the team on complex jobs.
- Ensure all work is completed on time, to standard, and within budget.
- Manage procurement of parts, equipment, and resources as required.
- Maintain strong client relationships through professional communication and service delivery.
- Conduct performance reviews, mentor staff, and support their professional development.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Technical knowledge of drainage systems, tankering, and excavation.
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Understanding of health and safety regulations and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
Essential Requirements:
- Proven experience in a managerial role within the drainage or tankering industry.
- Positive, proactive, and team-focused approach.
- Self-motivated with excellent time management skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
