What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking a part-time Year 3 teacher (2–3 days per week) to cover a one-year maternity leave. This is a job-share role working Tuesday to Thursday, sharing with an experienced member of staff who has taught in this year group for several years. The role will involve whole-class teaching and small-group intervention work, delivered in partnership with an experienced colleague.
What the school offers its staff
St Peter’s is a thriving, one-form entry, inner-city Church school serving a diverse, multicultural community in the heart of Leeds. We are seeking a dedicated teacher who will build on our high standards, demonstrate high expectations of themselves and their pupils, and always strive for the very best for our wonderful children. You will work with pupils who arrive at school full of enthusiasm, alongside parents who are fully supportive of the school.
Commitment to safeguarding
St Peter’s C of E Primary School is committed to the Equalities Act 2010 and also to promoting the welfare and safeguarding of children and young people, by adhering to the “Keeping Children Safe in Education” guidance. All staff and volunteers are regularly trained regarding our expectations in keeping our students safe. An enhanced DBS is required for every post.
