Commercial Insurance Negotiator - Cheltenham
A leading independent insurance broker based in Cheltenham is seeking an experienced Commercial Insurance Negotiator to join their small, ambitious sales team. Specialising in the haulage industry, the company has grown to become one of the UK's larger independent brokers, providing expert advice and arranging a wide range of commercial insurance solutions. This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional who may also identify as an Insurance Broker, Insurance Consultant, Insurance Advisor, or Insurance Specialist.
Key Responsibilities:

Negotiate terms for both new business and renewals with clients and insurers.

Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, underwriters, and colleagues.

Build and maintain strong, constructive relationships with clients and insurers.

Provide expert advice across commercial insurance products, including Commercial Vehicle, Fleet, Employers & Public Liability, Goods in Transit, and Commercial Combined.

Act as a trusted Insurance Advisor or Insurance Specialist, combining technical knowledge with excellent customer service.
Requirements:

Proven experience as a Commercial Insurance Negotiator, Insurance Broker, Insurance Consultant, or Insurance Advisor.

Strong knowledge of commercial insurance policies relevant to the sector.

Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills, with attention to detail.

Friendly, approachable, and adaptable, able to respond to client requirements with patience and professionalism.
Hours & Benefits:

Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., office-based.

31 days' holiday per year including bank holidays, plus service entitlement.

Competitive salary with negotiable commission package depending on experience.
