Hourly Rate: £12.21 per hour
Contract type: Permanent, Full Time
Working hours: Monday - Friday 07:00 - 16:30
About the role
We are looking for a dedicated and reliable person to join our team of 4, working in Sutton Coldfield, maintaining the public grounds and keeping the streets clean. This role will involve grass cutting, strimming, hedge cutting and spraying on public grounds, along with carrying out vital street cleansing tasks such as litter picking, sweeping and bin emptying, to help keep our streets clean and welcoming for the community.
You will be reporting remotely to our depot in Burton-on-Trent, however will only be required to attend that location for induction and any training.
Requirements
- Experience in either a Grounds Maintenance or Cleansing role using tools such as strimmers, hedge cutters and mowers.
- Full UK driving license is desirable but not essential for static operatives.
- Ability to handle physically demanding tasks & walking between required locations.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
- A positive attitude and willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
