You will be working alongside colleagues on the discrete provision for young people with learning disabilities to develop high quality, personalised work experience and employment opportunities.You will be responsible for:Working with students and their tutors to agree, secure, monitor and review appropriate work experience placementsMaintain and develop effective links with employers, Course Tutors, Employment Advisors, Job Coaches, parents/carers and other partnersSupport learners on work experience placements, incl. travel trainingManage and further develop the college’s award-winning mini-job schemeTo succeed in this role, you will need excellent communication, organisational, record keeping and team working skills, and a positive approach to problem solving and developing innovative practice.
