  • Technical Investigations: Assist engineers in conducting investigations into future products, components, materials, and processes.

  • Diagnostics & Maintenance: Diagnose and fix faults on both engines and test cell equipment while maintaining a clean work area in line with 5S and TPM standards.

  • Continuous Improvement (15%): Support value stream improvement projects and undertake ongoing technical training.

Required Skills & Experience
  • Technical Foundation: An engineering or motor mechanics apprenticeship is highly desirable.

  • Industry Experience: Previous experience in motor vehicle maintenance or engine testing is preferred.

  • Mechanical Aptitude: Proficiency with hand/power tools and lifting equipment, alongside a basic understanding of instrumentation.

  • Operational Excellence: Strong attention to detail to ensure mistake-free results and a positive attitude toward change.

  • Compliance: Full eligibility to work in the UK for the entire 12-month duration is required.

Shift Pattern (24/7 Rotation)

This role operates on a continuous 24/7 shift pattern. The cycle covers 28 days, during which you will work 14 days and have 14 days off (including a block of 8 consecutive days off). Please ensure you are fully comfortable with this requirement before applying.

The hiring panel places high importance on a Personal Statement. When applying, please include a brief outline of:
