Summary
Exciting opportunity for an organised, creative & motivated person to manage the team at our Crediton Charity shop.
The main duties are:
Manage all aspects of the day-to-day running of the shop, maximising sales & Gift Aid income & ensuring that a professional and efficient service is maintained.
Ensure that the service continues to meet the main objectives of maximising reuse & supplying low cost household items to people on low incomes.
Provide support & guidance to staff and volunteers.
Be prepared to lead from the front & be involved in all aspects of the job including keeping the shop tidy & well presented, lifting & carrying furniture, appliances & have strong staff supervision & team building skills. Being able to value and price a wide range of goods is essential & the right person can learn this on the job.
Good admin & basic IT skills including spreadsheets & word processing required. Strong focus on staff development, training & support. Driving licence & own car essential.
In summary we are looking for a flexible person with a positive outlook that is passionate about our ethos of helping people & reducing waste and has the skills to lead & develop the project & it's team.
