Location: Exeter- travel to sites within the South West region
Hours: 40 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us

What will you be responsible for?
As a Senior Environmental Advisor, you will be working on the Environment Agency collaborative delivery framework (CDF) who deliver flood & coastal risk management projects in the South West. You will lead legal compliance and support delivery of improved environmental and sustainability outcomes, meeting our client's expectations on a complex framework.
Your day to day will include:
-Ensure effective implementation and reporting of our enviromental monitoring regime and audit programme (this is a site-based role travelling and visiting sites)
-Collect and report environmental sustainability data and ensure input into the Kier reporting tools
-Manage and oversee environmental consultants/ specialists where required
-Liaise with client, regulatory bodies and subcontractors on matters of environmental management and sustainability to drive best practice
-Review method statements and associated documents to ensure environmental compliance
What are we looking for?
This role of Senior Environmental Advisor is great for you if you:
-Hold experience working in an environmental advisor role within the infrastructure or construction sectors. You might be an experienced Environmental Advisor looking to take the next step in your career
-Are a member of a professional body (e.g. IEMA, CIWEM, CIWN etc)
-Have an understanding of environmental legislation, impact mitigation and dealing with statutory authorities
-Hold some experience of managing a variety of environmental risks and understanding their impacts in terms of time, cost and reputation
-Hold an understanding of the benefits of working collaboratively to obtain the best outcome for the project
-Have good interpersonal & communication skilled, with the ability to communicate environmental risks and controls to many different job roles and levels of environmental awareness
-Have working knowledge of ISO 14001
-Hold a driving licence- the role will require travel across the South West
