Person specification Combined Values Education, training and qualifications Level 2 day-care childcare qualification Level 2 in numeracy Level 2 in literacy Skills and abilities Good written and verbal communication Ability to follow instruction and to work under own imitative as necessary Ability to adapt to meet the needs of the service within a team environment Ability to work varying shifts between the hours of 7:00am - 6:00pm Monday to Friday Attendance at staff meetings outside normal hours Desirable Qualifications Paediatric First Aid Food H&H Safeguarding Knowledge and Experience Demonstrate post qualification experience in a day care setting with children aged three months to five years. Experience of contributing towards daily planning and assisting in the undertaking of observations Basic knowledge of child care development and an awareness of children's needs An awareness of the Curriculum for Wales
