Crynodeb
The Accuracy Checking Technician will support the delivery of a safe, accurate, and efficient dispensary service within the Fairviewoperated pharmacy at Bowmere Hospital. The service provides medicines exclusively for Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust inpatient units and outpatient clinics. Working as part of a busy hospitalbased dispensary team, the postholder will be responsible for carrying out final accuracy checks on dispensed items, ensuring all medicines supplied meet legal, clinical, and organisational standards. The role also supports the preparation of medication orders, stock management, recordkeeping, and maintaining a safe and compliant working environment. The ACT will work closely with pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and wider clinical teams to ensure timely supply of medicines to mental health wards and services. Strong attention to detail, effective communication, and the ability to work efficiently within a multidisciplinary setting are essential. This position offers the opportunity to work in a hospital environment within a Mental Health Trust while being fully employed and supported by Fairview Health.
