Summary

We're looking for a Temporary Works Coordinator to join our Highways team based in Tebay. Are you ready to play a crucial role in our successful highways project team? We're seeking a skilled Temporary Works Coordinator with experience in structures to join our collaborative team.



Location: Tebay, Cumbria - travel to the office required with some remote working available

Hours: 45 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us

Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 per year + £5.9k car allowance + private healthcare + excellent benefits

What will you be responsible for?

As a Temporary Works Coordinator, you'll help design and implement safe solutions that enable our projects to run smoothly, working with multiple disciplines including structures, bridges, highways, drainage and railways.

Your day to day will include:

-Developing and coordinating safe, innovative temporary works solutions from concept through to implementation

-Managing the interface between site teams, design requirements and project timelines

-Producing CAD drawings and design briefs while ensuring compliance with procedures

-Supporting installation teams and conducting site checks to ensure quality and safety

-Collaborating across disciplines to coordinate designs and mitigate risks effectively



What are we looking for?

This role of Temporary Works Coordinator is ideal if you:

-Have experience in structures and bridges engineering with a keen eye for detail

-Are confident using CAD to produce drawings and coordinate design elements

-Thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy building relationships across teams

-Are organised and can effectively manage multiple design priorities to meet programme requirements

-Have a CSCS card and ideally Temporary Works Coordinator training
