Support Worker
We are currently recruiting experienced Support Workers to join our team in Carterton, working in a small and friendly home environment supporting two residents on a one-to-one basis. This role is focused on delivering high-quality, person-centred care while promoting dignity, comfort, and independence.
Key Responsibilities:
Providing one-to-one personal care
Supporting individuals with limited mobility, including manual handling
Assisting with medication administration
Encouraging and supporting activities and exercises to promote wellbeing and engagement
Maintaining a safe, respectful, and supportive environment
Experience & Requirements:
Previous experience supporting individuals with complex physical care needs
Manual handling experience is essential
Caring, patient, and reliable with a strong understanding of person-centred care
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
