We have created an exciting new opportunity for an Independent Living Team Leader to manage, motivate, and train a recently formed Independent Living Team, which will provide support to our older, vulnerable, and disabled tenants in sustaining their independent living. This will include the development of support plans, assistance with making referrals and maximising welfare benefits, the provision of 24/7 monitored digital alarm system, and taking an active role in complex cases. You will be responsible for managing 9 staff to develop and deliver the service, and you should ideally have experience of working in a Team Leader/supervisory role.
You must have a clear understanding of issues affecting social housing, together with experience of delivering similar services to older and vulnerable people, and the provision, management and development of 24/7 emergency call systems/telecare provision.
If you would like more information about the role, please contact Martyn Hudson, Tenant Services Manager at martyn.hudson@bassetlaw.gov.uk or (01909) 533 533.
We offer a generous employee benefit package including 26-32 days holiday plus bank holidays, free healthcare cash plan, flexitime and so much more. You can read about all our employee benefits here.
