Fixed term contract/ secondment opportunity until 18th October 2026

To provide a professional, high quality and responsive departmental service, to patients, in a safe clinical environment. The post holder will practice without the direct supervision of a clinician.

Shifts are a mixture of lengths (from 7.5hrs to 12.5hrs paid). You will be required to work flexibly - weekday / weekend and out of hour’s duties (including nights and on-call) within the NNUH Trust, including Cromer District Hospital and the Community Diagnostic Centre. We operate a 7 day working week which includes rostering at nights, weekends and Bank Holidays. We offer flexible working opportunities as well.

We are seeking highly motivated candidates to apply for a Band 6 fixed term post in Plain Film. This position involves delivering high-quality imaging, ensuring clinical safety, and upholding excellent patient care. Flexibility is essential, with radiographers expected to provide 24/7 patient care, manage workflow, and take on non clinical responsibilities such as appraisals, governance, coaching, and incident investigation. You will be required to manage day-to-day workflow across Plain Film, acting as a daily Coordinator, supervising and managing a large team of Radiographers, APs and Assistants, ensuring excellent patient flow and service provision across a large Department. The post holder will require extensive experience at working at a Senior level in Radiography, preferably Plain Film.

• Ensure own technical standards of the modality are up to date and evidence based, attend relevant courses, clinical meetings, study days and show evidence of Continued Professional Development.
