Crynodeb
We are seeking a kind, patient, and reliable female Personal Assistant to provide supportive, person-centred assistance to a lady living with ADHD, Autism, anxiety, and depression. The role involves gentle prompting and encouragement with personal care routines, reminders to take prescribed medication, and prompts for regular eating and drinking. Support will also include helping the employer stay focused and organised with daily tasks, budgeting, meal planning and preparation, food shopping, and maintaining a balanced and comfortable home environment, including light cleaning. The employer has one friendly dog and a cat, so confidence around pets is essential. A calm, understanding approach and the ability to offer reassurance without pressure are key to this role.
The employer has three neurodiverse children, so a current DBS check (or willingness to obtain one) will be required for this role.
The employer does have access to her own vehicle and is happy to use this for the purpose of carrying out any planned trips to go food shopping and access the community. Please kindly note - you will be required to make your own way to and from the employers address.
