Mobile Cleaners
We are looking for experienced, hardworking and reliable mobile cleaners to join our professional, friendly team cleaning multiple sites each day across the Lancashire area. This role is an ideal full-time job for two experienced cleaners working together. You would be required to use your own car to travel between sites and because of this it means we require teams to live in the same household.
Daily duties include commercial cleaning i.e. sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, sanitising, cleaning kitchens and toilets across a range of sites in the Lancashire area such as offices, healthcare and educational environments. This position is to cover for holidays, absenteeism & vacancies in the Lancashire area (i.e. Blackburn, Burnley, Preston, Chorley Southport, Blackpool and Lancaster).
Wage:
£ 13.77 per hour, increasing to £ 14.27 per hour from 1st April 2026. You will also be paid a travel time allowance plus relevant business miles.
Requirements of the job:
• You must have at least 2 years of commercial cleaning experience, with machine buffing experience preferred.
• You must have your own reliable vehicle plus valid driving licence, with appropriate “business use” insurance cover in place.
• You must live in Lancashire with a home post code of BB, PR or FY.
• You must be able to speak English and understand written English.
• You must have a basic DBS check (Minster can provide one for successful applicants if needed).
• An Enhanced DBS check is preferred.
• You must be punctual, professional and presentable and take pride in your work.
• A positive attitude and the ability to show initiative is essential in this role.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• You will need good physical stamina and the ability to perform physically repetitive cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming, cleaning and sanitise toilets, showers, and sinks.
• You must be able to follow a written cleaning schedule on each site and adhere to health and safety regulations whilst doing so.
• You must be able to follow established BICSs cleaning procedures.
Pattern of work:
The normal pattern of work is 2 shifts per day Monday to Friday between the hours of 6am to 12noon & from 4pm to 9pm, however this can vary depending on daily requirements, so flexibility is required. Weekend work required on rota.
