We are currently recruiting for a Well-being Support Worker to join the team at Oak Tree House RG30 and Cedar Court RG2
Located in Reading, Berkshire, Oak Tree House RG30 has 60 one and two bedroom apartments designed to help local residents aged 55 and over to retain as much independence and control over their lives as possible.
Located in Reading, Berkshire, Cedar Court RG2 has 40 one and two bedroom apartments designed to help local residents aged 55 and over to retain as much independence and control over their lives as possible.
Our Support workers strive to help people we support to retain as much independence as possible, for as long as possible and are on-site 24/7. Support is tailored to the needs of each person, provided within the comfort and privacy of their own flat and can range from a little help daily to support throughout the day and night time. The role is to promote independence, choice, dignity and respect by delivering the best standards of care.
As a Well-being Support Worker you will be supporting our resident with a range of activities such as
• Completing well-being checks with residents
• Supporting residents to learn new skills such how to do on-line shopping and other key computer skills
• Finding new ways to engage with local organisations and signposting residents to organisations such as Age UK etc..
This role may involve some personal care when responding to emergency pendent calls.
Hours
Shift patterns include 10am to 4pm, 5 days a week including alternate weekends
At theis present time, we are unable to consider sponosrship or switches for this role.
