Summary
Secondary Tutor (1:1)
Our Secondary Tutors play a crucial role in supporting students who require additional help in core subjects. Every learners journey is different, which is why we offer flexible working hours to suit your availability, alongside the opportunity to make a meaningful and lasting difference.
Key Responsibilities
· Deliver tailored one-to-one or small group tuition in Maths and English at secondary level.
· Adjust lesson content, structure, and pace to meet individual learning needs and abilities.
· Support students in developing subject knowledge, study skills, and confidence.
· Build a consistent, trusting rapport to create a safe and encouraging learning environment.
· Monitor progress and provide clear, constructive feedback to parents, carers, or professionals as required.
Essential Requirements
· Right to work in the UK.
· Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
Desirable Qualifications
· PGCE in Secondary Education and/or Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
· Experience supporting learners with additional learning needs.
