Responsibilities
Facilitate and chair conferences regarding children's care and protection.
Ensure that the needs of the child are at the forefront of all discussions and decisions.
Collaborate with various stakeholders, including parents, social workers, and educators, to foster a cooperative environment.
Guide discussions to achieve meaningful outcomes and resolutions for children and families involved.
Maintain impartiality and neutrality while encouraging open communication between all parties.
Document and communicate decisions made during conferences, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed.
Stay updated on relevant legal frameworks and best practices related to child welfare and protection.
Requirements
Proven experience in child welfare, social work, or a related field.
Strong understanding of child protection policies and practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with diverse audiences.
Experience in facilitation or mediation, preferably in a conference setting.
Ability to remain neutral and unbiased in discussions and decision-making processes.
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple conferences and meetings efficiently.
Commitment to advocating for the best interests of children and their families.
Hours Per Week: 18.50
Start Time: 09:00
End Time: 17:30
Pay Per Hour: £28.41
