Summary
Our client is looking for a Workshop Operative performing general support, productions tasks, setting up the machines, handling materials, operating basic hand held tools, performing minor repairs and assembly, managing stock all while strictly adhereing to health and safety protocols. Full training will be given to the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
Setting up,testing, calibrating and performing minor repairs on tools and equipement.
Light assembly and fabrication - using hand/power tools.
Loading/Unloading deliveries, moving stock, preparing orders.
Following job schedules, reporting issues and supporting other teams.
Sweeping, cleaning machinery, tidying the workstation and general housekeeping
Experience/Skills/Attributes
Experience of basic hand held tools and basic assembly.
Ability to follow instructions and work methodically
Practical,hands on and a good team player.
Keen to learn new skills in a faced paced environment
Physical fitness for manual handling
