Summary

Cover Supervisor – Day-to-day supply from as soon as possible These flexible opportunities are ideal for Cover Supervisors who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across different school settings.Duties as Cover Supervisor:

• Supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of the class teacher
• Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and ensure pupils remain on task
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
• Provide feedback to teaching staff on pupil progress and behaviour
• Support pupils in their learning and encourage positive engagement
• Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment
• Adapt quickly to different school settings and routines

Ideal Cover Supervisor:

• Experience working with secondary-aged pupils in an educational setting
• Confident classroom presence and strong behaviour management skills
• Ability to follow lesson plans and maintain continuity of learning
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A flexible and proactive approach to working across different schools
• A genuine interest in education and supporting young people
• An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
