Job Description
Support local nursery teams in providing high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5.
Implement the EYFS framework through creative play, storytelling, and outdoor activities.
Maintain an "enabling environment" by ensuring high standards of hygiene, safety, and cleanliness.
Act as a positive role model, assisting with daily routines including meal times and personal care.
Build professional relationships with permanent staff and provide feedback to parents/carers.
Requirements
Experience: A minimum of 3 months of recent experience in a UK Private Day Nursery (PVI) is essential (School-only experience is not suitable for these roles).
Qualifications: We welcome Level 2 and Level 3 qualified practitioners, as well as experienced Unqualified Assistants.
Morning Readiness: You must be reachable and ready to accept bookings from 7:00 AM on the days you choose to work.
DBS: An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or a willingness to process a new one immediately).
Transport: Ability to travel to settings across Wakefield, Castleford, or Pontefract.
References: Ability to provide two professional childcare-related references.
