Are you an Assistant Headteacher with Secondary-based experience looking for a new opportunity on an interim basis or contract basis?

We are working with a good school in Birmingham to support then in recruiting an Assistant Headteacher to work across whole of school improving attendance and inclusion. Working as part of a team you will primarily be responsible for building the relationships with students, parents, staff and third parties that enable improvement in attendance that impact academic outcomes.

You will be:-

- QTS Secondary teacher any subject
- Experienced leader in a secondary school setting
- Have exceptional communication skills
- Able to demonstrate a great understanding of inclusion and have a track record of improving attendance across whole of school
- Used to working as part of a team responsible for outcomes that start with attendance and impact results in the classroom
- Happy to work with students and their families to create plans to develop attendance, punctuality, participation, and communication
- Looking for an opportunity impact rewards across whole of school linked to attendance
- Working with a team developing culture and changes perceptions of school with students
- Enabling students to think ahead, linking attendance to progress beyond the school gates
- Ambassador for oracy across whole of school
- Minimal amount of teaching
- Leading on whole of school attendance
- Mentor and leader
