Rikama Education Ltd are currently working with a SEN school located on the south coast, near Seaford in East Sussex, who are looking to recruit a Class Teacher who can plan and deliver lessons to secondary aged children with behaviour needs.

Ideally you will have experience of working as either a Primary Teacher who is able to teach both English and Maths to children ages 11-16, or have experience teaching core subjects in a secondary SEN setting.

To be successful, you will have QTS, excellent behaviour management skills, be a skilled practitioner, and have the motivation and patience to teach children with special needs.

As a SEN Teacher, your responsibilities include:

- Plan and deliver engaging Maths and English lessons tailored to pupils with a range of SEN.
- Adapt curriculum content to meet individual learning needs and abilities.
- Use a variety of teaching strategies, including multisensory and therapeutic approaches.
