What skills and experience we're looking for
Richmond Hill Academy is seeking to appoint a committed, enthusiastic and skilled Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join our hardworking team. This role is essential in supporting high‑quality learning and helping to create a purposeful, inclusive and well‑organised learning environment for all pupils.
Working under the guidance of teaching and senior staff, the successful candidate will support pupils’ learning, wellbeing and behaviour, both within the classroom and in wider school settings
The ideal applicant will have:
• Completed the DfES Teaching Assistant Induction Programme or equivalent qualifications/experience.
• NVQ Level 3 for Teaching Assistants or suitable classroom-based experience.
• An understanding of child development and learning.
