What skills and experience we're looking for

We are seeking an Individual Needs Assistant (INA) to support an individual child in Nursery, who has an autism diagnosis. This child is an incredibly bubbly and curious student. This child is preparing to attend school in September. The role is for 3 hrs per day 2 days per week and 5 hours per day 1 day per week. This role has the potential for more hours dependant on outcome of the EHCP application.

The child will benefit from a person:

• With previous experience of working with children who have SEND needs.
• With previous experience supporting children in Early Years/knowledge of the EYFS.
• With the ability to work collaboratively with the teacher to provide the best possible learning opportunities for the child through adjusting the curriculum to meet the individual’s needs.
• With energy to be flexible and adapt the learning to suit the learner
