What skills and experience we're looking for

The Priory Pembroke Academy is an oversubscribed Academy seeking to appoint an inspiring and innovative teacher and leader with enthusiasm in abundance and who has high expectations for all of their students and staff.

The successful candidate will need to be a visible leader who has a track record of school improvement within a senior leadership team or as a middle leader.

As Assistant Headteacher you will drive the positive culture and work closely with colleagues in order to create an inclusive environment in which young people can thrive and achieve individual excellence. Priory Pembroke is on an ambitious journey of improvement and the role provides the successful candidate with an opportunity which will be career defining. This senior leadership post is pivotal to continued Academy improvement and the exceptional candidate will be responsible for leadership areas to be decided but a strength in SEND leadership may be desirable.

The role plays a key part in the Academy development journey and you will have the opportunity to work with senior colleagues across the Trust. The Priory Federation of Academies invests heavily in the development of staff and the opportunity to contribute and develop at a Trust level is significant. We invest in all of our staff and the Assistant Headteacher will have the scope to work across all leadership areas, with a high performing senior team, to develop world class teaching at Priory Pembroke.
