About the Role
We have a vacancy for a Learning Support Assistant to join our Learning Support Team in our school. Experience of working in school is an advantage but not essential. We are committed to staff wellbeing and morale, offering free annual flu vaccinations, regular staff social events, and a range of fun, inclusive activities throughout the year, such as whole-staff games (for example, Staff Traitors). These initiatives help build strong relationships, promote teamwork, and create a positive working environment.
Staff are encouraged and supported to pursue professional development and career progression, with access to specialist training, mentoring, and opportunities to grow within the SEND department and wider school community.
Commitment to safeguarding
Safeguarding Our school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Therefore, the position is subject to safeguarding checks that will include the receipt of satisfactory references and an enhanced DBS check. Following the shortlisting stage, and prior to making a final decision, the School will collect and process information publicly available about you by conducting a brief online search using an internet search engine. We do this to ensure that the school acts in accordance with its obligations set out in Keeping Children Safe in Education.
