A global pharmaceutical organisation that employ circa 5000 people across 40+ countries worldwide.


Your new role
The Master Data Manager is responsible for leading the implementation, governance, and ongoing optimisation of master data processes within the UK Finance Shared Service Centre. You will be responsible for the creation, maintenance and integrity of high‑quality, compliant master data across multiple countries. The role oversees data governance frameworks, establishes quality standards, manages tools such as SAP ECC/S4HANA, and drives continuous improvement while resolving data integrity issues in partnership with IT and business stakeholders. You will also lead/develop a team of data specialists (6 to 8 heads), embed a strong data culture across the organisation, manage stakeholder engagement, and support major system and process change.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Significant experience in enterprise‑level data management, including master data management (MDM) and data governance.
  • Deep knowledge of SAP ECC/S4HANA master data processes and structures.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with high attention to detail.
  • Excellent project management capability, able to lead complex, cross‑functional initiatives.
  • Ability to translate technical data concepts into clear guidance for non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Proven experience coaching, mentoring and developing teams.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive change.
  • Ideally educated to Degree level in Information Management, Computer Science or Business-related subject.



What you'll get in return
