Teaching Assistant with Midday Assistant duties

Hours of Post:
TA 25.83 hours per week, Monday to Friday
MDA 5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Salary Grade:
TA Scale 3, points 5 to 6 - £25,583 to £25,989 FTE
MDA Scale 1, point 3 - £24,796 FTE
(salary will be pro rata to the part time, term time hours)

Contract Type: Permanent, Term Time only

Start Date: As soon as possible


Rose Hill Primary School is a large inclusive primary school serving the community of Marple. We welcome applications from excellent, innovative practitioners who wish to work in our friendly, caring and successful school.

We are seeking to appoint a committed teaching assistant to join our team. This will involve supporting the teachers in the classroom and supporting children with their learning. Knowledge of a range of primary based practice will be an advantage. This role will also involve 1 hour of Midday duty per day.

have the ability to inspire children and provide high quality learning experiences
be committed to ensuring that children reach their full potential

have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work positively with children, parents and other stakeholders
have a sound knowledge of the primary curriculum, especially mathematics, grammar, spelling and punctuation
