Crynodeb
This FY3 post forms part of the ST1+ medical team in the Renal Unit, together with Internal Medicine Trainees, trainees in intensive care medicine, and clinical fellows. The posts would be suitable for anyone wishing to gain experience in renal medicine and transplantation, including prior to applying to the IMT programme, or to acquisition of a training number. The post provides excellent training in all aspects of renal medicine. It offers unparalleled experience in acute renal transplantation in an internationally renowned centre. The postholder will be will be based at Guys hospital with their clinical time split 50/50 between Richard Bright and Patience ward. There will also be opportunity to participate in renal and transplant outpatient clinics under the supervision of a Consultant, and to assess renal referrals at the St Thomas site.
