Our Safeguarding Department is expanding and we are excited to announce that we are looking for an additional team member to join
as a Wellbeing Officer.
We are seeking a passionate and experienced candidate to join our dedicated team.

The Role
Term Time Only
Monday - Thursday 8:40am - 5:00pm
Friday 8:40am - 4:00pm
To support student success and retention by delivering high-quality support in relation to welfare, safeguarding, and mental
wellbeing. The role involves identifying and removing barriers to education and engagement, providing both short- and long-term
supportive interventions for students experiencing a range of challenges, including safeguarding concerns, wellbeing issues, and
emotional difficulties.
Main Duties for this role include
* Assist the Safeguarding & Welfare Manager (DSL) with the provision of services to students including looked after, safeguarding
concerns and mental wellbeing;
* Identify appropriate support interventions and comply with College’s and Local Authorities referral system including whether an
urgent response / external referral is required;
* Liaise and maintain contact with parents and guardians for the duration of the student’s programme;
* Manage a caseload of students requiring ongoing assistance, with regular review of support, setting SMART targets and
attendance monitoring across all areas of study;
* Attend frequent meetings with the curriculum and progress team to share student experiences where appropriate.
