We are the parent company of eight successful businesses: Bishopsgate, Bridgehead, City Calling, Guardior, MacRail, Munnelly Support Services, Severn Partnership, and Weston Analytics.
We are looking for a Lead Recruitment Resourcer to join City Calling, our specialist recruitment business focusing on construction, trades, and labour hire. In this role, you will play a key part in identifying, engaging, and attracting top talent across the construction and trades sectors.
ROLE SPECIFICATION:
The Lead Recruitment Resourcer will lead City Calling’s candidate generation and delivery efforts, ensuring a consistent pipeline of high-quality candidates that meet client requirements and industry compliance standards. This role is responsible for developing and executing effective sourcing strategies that support business growth, efficiently and reliably filling client vacancies to a consistently high standard. The role also has the potential to evolve into a team management position, overseeing and mentoring a recruitment team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversee the end-to-end candidate resourcing process, including advertising, headhunting, networking, and database management.
Develop and implement innovative sourcing strategies to attract candidates across the construction sector, covering temporary, contract, and permanent roles.
Source candidates through multiple channels, including job boards, social media, advertising, referrals, and direct approaches.
Register, interview, and screen candidates, ensuring all compliance and right-to-work checks are completed.
Match candidates to live vacancies in line with client specifications.
Build and maintain strong candidate relationships to encourage loyalty and repeat engagement.
Proactively develop candidate networks to ensure availability for current and future opportunities.
Maintain accurate candidate records and ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and company requirements (e.g., right-to-work checks, qualifications, certifications).
Respond promptly and professionally to client requests.
Send booking confirmations to workers and clients, coordinate site inductions, and manage all timesheet queries.
Ensure accurate timesheet and pay information is submitted to Payroll and Finance each week.
Collaborate with the Business Development team to understand client needs and priorities.
Monitor and analyse market trends to anticipate candidate availability and skills shortages.
Report regularly on resourcing activity, pipeline, and performance against delivery targets.
Work to agreed KPIs and targets.
Participate in client and internal audits to ensure quality and compliance at all times.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
This role is delivery-focused, and performance will be measured against candidate availability, fulfilment rates, and quality of placement.
The post-holder may be required to attend client sites for relationship management and workforce checks.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:
Proven experience in recruitment resourcing, ideally within the construction sector.
