Community Mental Health Support Worker - Band 3 Leamington Spa

Do you want to be part of a very supportive, forward thinking, positive and dynamic Community Mental Health Team?
We have a vacancy in the South Warwickshire Community Mental Health Team (Leamington Spa) for a full time community support worker who would like to join our team that works across South Warwickshire. The team works with service users with various mental illnesses and we have bases at St Mary's Lodge, Leamington Spa and Stratford Healthcare, Stratford Upon Avon (you will be predominantly based at St Mary's Lodge, Leamington Spa)
The successful applicant will work alongside a dynamic, supportive, multi-disciplinary team to deliver recovery focussed interventions in the community. This includes a range of individual and group interventions. Your role will include supporting our well established clinics, working alongside the medical staff and other team members to ensure that our patients’ needs are met. The role is wide ranging, diverse and interesting, with no two days being the same.
Visits to the team or questions are encouraged to appreciate this exciting but challenging role.
The team have regular team events and developments to support a positive working atmosphere, and collaborative working.
You will receive regular support and supervision. Ensuring that staff are well supported is important throughout the team. We also welcome opportunities for staff to develop, and this will be discussed throughout your time with the team.
We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who can work confidently on their own, as well as supporting the team. Good communication and problem solving skills are essential, as well as knowledge of mental illness and the challenges this brings in daily life.
