Job Description : SIGN MAKER

The Sign Maker will manage the production process of making and finishing signs ready for installation or delivery

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
o Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner and inform senior staff.
o Full preparation of vinyl graphics ready for installation.
o Installation of graphics to media and substrate
o Laminate application to all necessary substrates
o Vinyl / wrap application to vehicles
o Maintain a clean safe working area(s)
o Operate the CNC and set up aspire when necessary
o Assist lead sign installer with 2 men install where necessary.
o Responsible for all fabrication work, including but not limited to external signage with or without rails, acrylic and ACM letters, prep and paint built up letters, signs and sign trays.
o Perform regular maintenance on sign making equipment to ensure optimal performance, reducing downtime and minimizing the risk of malfunctions.
o Monitor stock levels of supplies, alerting the management staff in a timely manner to avoid interruptions in production.
o Implement quality control measures throughout the sign making process, from initial design to the final product, ensuring that each print job meets or exceeds our quality standards.
o The capability to maintain performance standards in high stress situations.
o Utilize company software programs to manage workflow.
o Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment, demonstrating politeness, respect, and effective communication with colleagues.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
o Experience in sign making
o Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
o Ability to troubleshoot issues.
o Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
o Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
o A positive attitude and the ability to remain polite and professional in all situations.
o Full clean driving licence.
