Job Information

To manage the premises team, within their responsibility, to ensure the reactive and pro-active maintenance and upkeep of the siteTo work with the Facilities Manager in planning and dealing with maintenance and cleaning issuesTo work with the FM to ensure training requirements across the team are metTo develop good client and customer relationships.To follow the company's health & safety and quality procedures.Ensure the security requirements of the site are adhered to at all times

Main Duties

Take responsibility for the security of the premises, escalating any problems to the FM or CM and HelpdeskBe required to ensure the lettings or any other out of core hour arrangement are managed and the site is open and secured before and after the event.To work along side the FM/Helpdesk in ensuring the maintenance and cleaning of the site are carried out in conjunction with the contract requirements - training permittingTo ensure the heating and lighting of the premises are as per contractual requirementsTo ensure the cleaning team complete their duties as per the contract requirements.To ensure the exterior grounds through the site team are tidy and litter free as per the contract requirementsTo complete porterage duties as requiredTo gain an understanding of energy monitoring/energy saving, including the reading of meters and appropriate use of the BMS system - this includes ensuring all windows are closed and equipment is switched off, aided by the site team, at the end of the core day.To carry out minor maintenance works/repairs in conjunction with any training needed - this may include high level work/electrical/mechanical/plumbing/joinery/To collect or deliver mail across the schoolTo be able to assist across all sites within the contractTo be contactable, through a business phone, during none core hours for emergencies and be able to attend to site if neededTo undertake any other related duties which are within the job holder's capability, according to the needs of the business.



What we are looking for

Must be able to complete an Enhanced Disclosure in line with the Contract requirements.Must fall into the required shift pattern as deemed suitable to meet Contractual requirements.Have a flexible approach to the role.Proven Customer Focus and Service Skills.The ability to prioritise workload effectively, with good organisational skills.Detail conscious.Able to work from own initiative.Good awareness of Health and Safety legislation.Excellent Time Management Skills.Good Communicator.Computer literate.
