Educate Staffing is supporting a prestigious primary school in Ealing in their search for an experienced and enthusiastic PPA Teacher with a computing specialism. This is a full-time role covering PPA sessions across the school, providing the successful candidate with the opportunity to deliver high-quality lessons across a range of subjects, with a particular focus on computing and digital skills.

Role Overview

The school is looking for a motivated professional who can deliver engaging lessons during teachers’ PPA time, inspiring pupils across all year groups. While this is a general PPA role, the successful candidate will have a strong computing specialism, bringing digital literacy, coding, and creative technology into the classroom.

Key responsibilities include:
Covering all PPA sessions across the school, delivering lessons across a range of subjects.
Planning and teaching engaging computing lessons, including coding, online safety, digital creativity, and multimedia projects.
Supporting pupils’ digital literacy and confidence with technology.
Collaborating with class teachers to ensure lesson continuity and curriculum alignment.
Contributing to whole-school events, projects, and showcases where digital skills are highlighted.
Maintaining a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.

Candidate Requirements:
We are seeking candidates who:
Have experience as a teacher, PPA cover teacher, or computing specialist in a primary school setting.
Possess strong subject knowledge in computing, including coding, digital literacy, and online safety.
Are confident delivering lessons across Key Stages 1 and 2.
Are adaptable, organised, and able to engage pupils with a variety of abilities and needs.
Have excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
Are available to start immediately (ASAP).
Hold an Enhanced DBS or are willing to obtain one.
