We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Receptionist to join our Facilities Management team.
This role is integral to delivering high-quality services to our customers and stakeholders, ensuring that every interaction reflects our commitment to excellence.
You will work closely with the Assistant Facilities Manager and support all aspects of facilities service provision.
Job Description
As part of a motivated team, you will play a key role in managing front-of-house operations, coordinating support services, and maintaining compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
This position requires a proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver front-of-house services, including welcoming visitors and providing appropriate support.
Perform general receptionist duties and manage the FM mailbox.
Ensure security procedures are followed at all times.
Coordinate meeting room management and provide porterage support, including occasional manual handling tasks (e.g., moving desks).
Track planned preventative maintenance (PPM) activities and update relevant systems.
Facilitate and oversee reactive and PPM visits, ensuring timely resolution.
Conduct inductions for new starters, covering health, safety, and environmental requirements.
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
Previous experience in reception or customer service roles.
Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office.
Personable, approachable, and a team player.
Excellent communication skills and customer-focused mindset.
Ability to solve problems effectively and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
