Crynodeb

We are looking for a Maths teacher to come and join our friendly and supportive department. You will teach across the age and ability range and have plenty of opportunities to develop yourself. The behaviour of students is outstanding and the expectations of teachers are realistic; the marking is achievable, observations are informal, with a focus on development rather than judgement.

If you enjoy teaching in a happy and unrivalled environment, then we would love to hear from you. Following years of strong GCSE results, we still believe that the best way to continue to improve is through strong teamwork where everyone is involved in driving results upwards.

TPS is a heavily over-subscribed mixed Academy in the desirable market town of Petersfield. It is a rewarding place to work, with delightful students and staff and an ethos where everyone is valued, and no child is left behind. Ofsted found TPS to be Outstanding in every category and we continue to strive for the best life opportunities for our students.

The Petersfield School is a key member of the highly successful Bohunt Education Trust (BET).

We will offer:

● A supportive team and learning environment
● Happy and enthusiastic students who want to learn
● The benefit of being part of a multi-academy trust offering the support of experienced Trust colleagues and greater opportunities for career progression

The Petersfield School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and requires all staff and volunteers to share and demonstrate this commitment. We are committed to equality of opportunity for all staff and applications from individuals are encouraged regardless of age, disability, sex, gender reassignment, sexual orientation, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief and marriage and civil partnerships. The successful candidate will be subject to pre-employment checks, including enhanced DBS checks, online/social media checks and satisfactory references.
