For over 20 years, we’ve been leaders in oil and fuel filtration, helping clients across power generation, manufacturing, mining, data centres, automotive, rail and marine sectors to name a few to improve their reliability and sustainability. to an internal promotion, we are looking for a Sales Engineer who is as comfortable diagnosing a hydraulic system as they are closing a sale. This is a New unique "hybrid" role where you will act as a technical consultant for our clients, ensuring they have the right filtration solutions to protect their critical assets.

Your Impact
• Technical Problem Solving: Collaborate with our Service Department to provide expert technical support and onsite diagnostics.
• Relationship Building: Act as the face of FA-ST, visiting existing clients to optimize their systems and identifying new partners who need our expertise.
• Solution Design: Prepare accurate, tailored quotations that solve specific client pain points.
• Brand Ambassador: Promote our innovative services—from laboratory analysis to on-site filtration—focusing on the tangible ROI for the customer.
Who You Are
• Technically Grounded: You have a solid background in hydraulics engineering. You understand the "how" and "why" behind filtration systems. Experience and or qualifications essential.
• Commercially Minded: You enjoy the "people" side of the business and have a knack for explaining complex technical concepts in a way that highlights their value.
• Self-Starter: You are proactive and comfortable managing your own workload and travel schedule.
• Equipped: You hold a full UK driving license and are proficient with MS Office (Word/Excel).
• Flexible: You’re happy to travel across the UK, including the occasional overnight stay to get the job done.
The Package
• Starting Salary: £44,000 per annum with additional overtime opportunities.
• Tools for Success: Company vehicle, mobile phone, office desk, and full sales backup support.
• Equipment: Specialist tools provided plus a dedicated tooling allowance.
• Time Off: 28 days annual holiday (inc. Bank Holidays), increasing with length of service.
