On behalf of our client we are looking for an Office Manager to cover Operations Support and Front of House Services
This is a temporary position and will be for approx. 2 Months.
Start Date: ASAP (subject to BS clearance)
Hours: Monday - Friday / 8:00am - 4:30pm
Duration: Approximately 2 months
Job Specification
Operations Support
- Leading the day-to-day delivery of facility services and operations
- Promoting the highest standards of business ethos and ensuring the effective use of resources in support of business objectives
- Establishing, overseeing, and ensuring planned preventative maintenance (PPM) programmes are carried out effectively
- Arranging works with suppliers and contractors, organising both planned and reactive support as required
- Ensuring statutory compliance with all required regulations and maintaining accurate, up-to-date records for inspection by the client or relevant professional bodies
- Managing soft services related to the aesthetics of the environment (cleaning, maintenance, redecorations, etc.), reporting faults or issues as appropriate
- Leading communication between clients, contractors, and on-site personnel through location-based sessions
- Carrying out monthly fabric, cleaning, and statutory compliance audits via the provided platform
- Conducting daily "business-ready" building tours to ensure facility systems are operational and any fabric issues are identified and addressed promptly
Front of House
- Light manual handling duties, including setting up and rearranging meeting rooms
- Preparing and serving refreshments for meetings and visitors
- Greeting visitors, managing sign-in procedures, and issuing daily visitor passes
- Handling incoming and outgoing post efficiently and securely
Additional Requirements:
-Successful candidates must be able to obtain BS Clearance prior to starting. This will require:
- A basic DBS check.
- A full 5-year employment history (any gaps must be supported by a professional or character reference).
- Copies of relevant education certificates.
