About the role:
At Footherley Hall we provide holistic care for 50 residents, including those living with dementia, in a warm, supportive environment guided by our values of compassion, dignity, and respect.
Your role as a care assistant
As a night care assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the wellbeing of our residents, ensuring they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for throughout the night. You’ll provide essential care and support when it’s needed most.
Provide person-centred care to our residents, ensuring their safety, comfort, and wellbeing.
Support with personal care, mobility assistance and respond to resident needs.
Maintain accurate records of care provided.
Work closely with colleagues and senior staff to ensure continuity of care.
Maintain a calm, reassuring presence during the night.
Ensure confidentiality and dignity for all residents.
What we are looking for
A caring, compassionate, and patient approach
Reliability and the ability to work independently at night
Good communication and teamwork skills
Experience using a mobile phone or tablet to record care notes
6 months' experience working in elderly residential care
Driver with access to a vehicle
