This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Assistant Psychologist to join an innovative research programme to support and enhance the understanding of the population described as mental health attenders of the Emergency Department at Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Greenwich and a pilot project working across Oxleas, offering targeted support to individuals described as frequent attenders of Emergency Departments.
Through this advert, we are recruiting a full time post based at Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Greenwich.
The successful candidates will, under the supervision of qualified psychologists, coordinate with Oxleas and system partners the gathering and analysis of data for the population described as mental health attenders of Emergency Department at Queen Elizabeth Hospital and subsequently, based on early findings, lead on the co-creation or effective multi-agency crisis plans with the highest-use ED frequent attenders and their care teams.
Please note that travel across Oxleas and system partners will be required as part of the role.

• To work closely with a variety of partners to gather data and collaborate in the understanding of the attenders of QEH ED. For example: People with Lived Experience of these services, the wider Oxleas Directorates, Lewisham & Greenwich Trust (LGT), representatives of London Boroughs of Bexley, London Borough of Bromley and the Royal Borough of Greenwich; and Voluntary Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE)
• To work closely with the local Integrated Care Board (ICB) to gather data and collaborate in the understanding of the attenders of QEH ED.
• To work closely with the various Oxleas teams/services, Local Authority and VCSE partners involved in the care of the attenders of QEH ED.
• To gather, manage, and utilise large data sets to deliver better understanding of the attenders of QEH ED .
• To analyse, interpret, and present the data and conclusion obtained using Excel and/or SPSS.
• Support the development and implementation of Frequent Attender pilot project.
• Engage with frequent attenders of QEH ED, their carers, and their Community Mental Health Teams (CMHTs) to co-produce Anticipatory Management Plans.
• Ensure positive working relationships with frequent attenders, colleagues and other agencies.
• To engage in supervision, reflecting on and modifying practice where indicated.
