Randstad Education is supporting a fantastic specialist SEN school in Surrey. They're seeking a dedicated Learning Support Worker to join their supportive team.
About the Role: You'll provide crucial 1:1 and small group support to students aged 4-19 with Autism. Responsibilities include assisting with IEPs, promoting independence, managing behaviour, and contributing to a positive learning environment. Personal care may be require.
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience supporting children with SEN in a school setting.
- A genuine passion for working with complex needs.
- Strong communication skills, patience, and empathy.
- Ability to work well in a team.
- Understanding of safeguarding.
- Essential: e.g., GCSE English & Maths (Grade C/4)
