About the role
As the Senior Asset Officer your manager will be our Regeneration and Programming Manager. You will work 22.2 hours a week Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday on a Fixed Term temporary basis of up to 12 months, working flexibly in the Vico Homes operating area at our Head Office in Castleford.
As the Senior Asset Officer you will be responsible for preparing, managing and monitoring planned and cyclical works programmes to ensure alignment with the business plan, financial and statutory regulations and the organisation’s strategic vision. You will analyse, monitor and produce performance information against KPIs and job costing, ensuring all works comply with legislation, financial and procurement regulations, the delegation framework, Vico Homes customer care standards and all relevant policies, procedures and time constraints.
What you’ll do
*Provide a comprehensive range of information to Senior Managers to enable decision making regarding the Capital Investment Programme.
*Data inputting and maintenance of data systems.
*Lead and oversee delivery of planned maintenance projects to ensure compliance governance in accordance with agreed specifications, cost and quality parameters set.
*Develop planned works schemes and ensure this work is delivered in accordance with health and safety requirements and time, value for money and quality criteria.
*Collaborate with management, colleagues and external partners to overcome challenges and contribute to an efficient, high quality service delivery.
*Actively participate and assist throughout the service area as required with regard to the development of systems, individuals and workload.
*Manage the Assets Support Team.
What we’re looking for
*A qualification at Level 3 of the Regulated Qualifications Framework such as A-Levels, Award, Certificate or Diploma at Level 3 or equivalent.
*A motivated team player with experience of working in a customer focused service delivery, including customer liaison.
*Clear verbal and written communication skills, enabling you to liaise confidently with colleagues, contractors and customers whilst producing clear and accurate programmes of work.
*Analytical with quality checking skills, producing data in a clear concise format.
